Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the human body, on average 15 g, half of which is in the skin.

In its natural state it occurs as a high molecular weight, but in the body it degrades very quickly to a low molecular weight (up to 2/3) and can be eliminated from the body within a few hours.
In cosmetics, it is therefore an indispensable ingredient in various creams and serums whose effects are aimed at filling wrinkles.

In addition, it has the ability to revitalise, that is, to stimulate cells to produce new collagen in the skin. It also helps to accelerate wound healing, relieve scar formation, swelling and pain due to injuries. It is an excellent means of rehydrating the skin as it can bind up to a thousand times its weight in water.

Dosage: 0.1 - 0.5%

Molecular weight: 1.5-2 MDa (1500-2000 kDa)

As the body cannot maintain it, regular application is necessary for the effect to be achieved.
Our hyaluronic acid is high molecular weight. It is water soluble.
