The glass medicine bottle with white surface and black spray pump is a professional packaging solution ideal for precise dosing of liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. The white coating of the glass helps to reduce light penetration, thereby contributing to better protection of sensitive ingredients and to the stability of the contents during storage and use. This product represents a comprehensive combination of glass bottle and spray pump, which is assembled on Handymade as a functional unit. Yes, the bottle can be safely reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying is the bottle ready for refilling.
The spray pump is suitable mainly for low-viscosity to medium-thin liquids that need to be applied as a fine mist – for example facial and body toners, hydrolates, aromatherapeutic and refreshing sprays, light hair and body preparations or disinfectant solutions intended for spraying. For thicker emulsions or oils, it is always necessary to carry out a test to check whether the mechanism ensures sufficiently smooth dosing.
We recommend first rinsing the glass part of the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the inside and the neck of the packaging with an alcohol solution, for example using the preparations IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. The spray pump itself should be rinsed with lukewarm water, the mechanism should be pressed "empty" to remove any remaining solution, and it should be left to dry freely. After all parts are completely dry, the packaging can be filled again.
Before handing the packaging over for recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any product residues. The glass body of the medicine bottle is usually sorted into the container designated for glass, while the plastic parts of the spray pump belong to plastic waste. Always follow the symbols and information on the material composition given in the product parameters and the local waste sorting rules in your municipality or city. In this way you ensure environmentally sound disposal of the packaging, if you do not decide to reuse it.
