PCA (Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid) is found naturally in the human body, is part of the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF), is found in the skin in the form of a salt and plays an important role in ensuring skin hydration.

Zinc PCA is a multifunctional raw material:

* regulates sebum and treats acne symptoms
* moisturises as it binds moisture significantly
* has strong antimicrobial effects - it acts against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria and yeasts
* forms odourless salts with fatty acids, which are responsible for body odours, and odourless salts with sweat and skin oil, thus reducing body odour

Zinc salt is not heat sensitive, so it can be included in both the warm and hot phases. Unlike zinc, Zinc PCA as a salt is easily soluble in water.

Dosage: 0.2-1% (the pH of the solution should be maintained at 5-6, above pH 7 significant flocculation occurs - zinc is sensitive to alkali metals), 0.3% shampoos

Use: moisturizers, shampoos, conditioners, masks, facial cosmetics, anti-acne products, deodorants and deodorizing products, hair lotions

All raw materials supplied are of cosmetic quality, not suitable for internal use.

Raw material safety grade according to EWG: 1 - 3 (depending on the level of use)
