Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (THDA) is an ester of vitamin C where ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is bound with tetrahexyldecyl fatty acid. It is one of the most stable vitamin C derivatives in cosmetic formulations. It is less susceptible to oxidation, which makes it suitable for products with a longer shelf life.

Thanks to its lipophilic structure, it penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin. Providing a softer and lighter feel on the skin, it is suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone.

It is commonly used in formulations to improve skin firmness, reduce pigmentation and protect against free radical damage.
