You also love that feeling when you lie down in a tub full of hot water, a book in your hand, ideally a glass of champagne :), and it's just you in the room, all alone... So why not combine the pleasant with the useful and relax not only your soul but also your skin. :)
Oil truffles are a great alternative to bath oil, because they combine several great butters and oils and use the best of them for your skin. They soak your skin beautifully and youdon't have to slather on lotion after your bath. Simply drop one praline into the hot water and enjoy the relaxation. Ivet will share with you how to make these truffles at home easily and simply.
To make bath pralines you need:
65g unrefined cocoa butter25g shea butter 12g apricot oil 10-15 drops eucalyptus essential oil or your favourite fragranceProcedure: 1.weigh your cocoa and shea butters into a bowl and place in the microwave or water bath to melt.
2.add the apricot oil and mix in a small bowl, set in a microwave or food processor, and whisk to blend3.pour into a silicone mold- preferably a small ice cube tray and let set in the refrigerator.
4.remove from mold and store in a cooler place.Cocoa butter is high in vitamin E and natural antioxidants. It softens dry skin and helps maintain its natural moisture. Easily absorbed. Treats burns, eczema and dermatitis, minimizes wrinkles and also pregnancy stretch marks. Eucalyptus essential oil promotes concentration and is beneficial for migraines. It has antibacterial, soothing, healing and stimulating effects.
