Wedo is the world's leading manufacturer of candle wicks and the LX series of wicks are designed to improve the combustion of vegetable and paraffin waxes in both freestanding and container candles.

The LX wick is a uniquely braided flat wick with no core made with a very strong structure. The LX wick eliminates carbon build-up at the top of the wick (called mushrooming), preventing glass containers from overheating while reducing smoke and soot during burning.

These wicks are chopped to 120mm in length, are wax coated and include a 15mm metal holder. The wick is thus ready to be inserted directly into the candle container. These flat braided wicks are coreless.

For the correct selection of the wick it is important to know the diameter of the candle container. If the size is small, the candle will not burn to the edge and will form a tunnel. If you use a wick that is too thick, the wax will melt too much and the whole candle will melt instead of melting gradually and evenly.
