Zeolite is a natural clay originating from Turkey. It is a mineral that has a unique property of attracting positively charged ions, thus neutralizing toxic substances. Zeolite is formed where volcanic rocks and ash layers react with alkaline groundwater.

It has the ability to absorb, store and neutralize toxins, making it a valuable detoxifying ingredient for skin and bath products. It is rich in silicon, calcium, potassium and iron. When used alone it is suitable for normal to oily skin, when combined with other clays it can be used on all skin types. Like activated charcoal, it has the ability to remove impurities from the skin and purify it. Clays are miscible with water and insoluble in oils.
