Product description

Cosmetic Moroccan clay, rhassoul is a clay originating from Morocco. The word rhassoul in Arabic means "to wash with". However, it is also known as ghassoul. It has been used for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes for several thousand years, and its beneficial effects were already known in ancient Egypt. It has excellent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. It contains potassium, magnesium and calcium. It removes grease and impurities from the skin without irritating the sebaceous glands. Regenerates the skin. Improves skin elasticity. Removes dead cells.

It is suitable for all skin types and it is recommended to apply the mask once a week.

Cosmetic clays have been used for thousands of years to soothe, treat and purify the skin. They are purely natural and very easy to use for everyone. Clays are miscible with water and insoluble in oils.

Scientific studies have shown the following benefits of using cosmetic clays:

- stimulate the body's immune defences and regenerate cells

- improve the secretion of type I collagen

- fight inflammation IL1beta, IL6 and TNF alpha

- promote wound healing

- protects the top layer of the skin from urban smog

- visibly absorbs sebum after just 10 minutes of application

- absorbs unpleasant odours after 1 hour of application

Cosmetic clays can be used in the production of powders, face masks, creams, compresses, mud baths , etc. For instructions on how to make a powder face mask using cosmetic clays, visit our blog.

The cosmetic clays in our range come from France, where they are both mined and processed under strict standards. They are ECOCERT, COSMOS and NATRUE certified.
