Yellow cosmetic clay (or alum) is a 100% natural powder rich in minerals such as silicon, calcium, magnesium, potassium , iron and others. Clays are miscible with water and insoluble in oils. This product is processed purely mechanically, without any chemical intervention. It is crushed and then dried, the grains are then sorted. Illites are formed by further weathering of the bentonite (hence their original English name, ultra-ventilated).It is suitable for all skin types, also suitable for dry and sensitive skin. It has mattifying and regenerating effects. It gently tones the skin , eliminates excess sebum and tightens pores. The clay is suitable for use as part of face and hair masks and body wraps. The shade of the clay may vary from batch to batch due to the fact that it is a natural product.
