Product description

Euxyl PE 9010 is a completely clear and transparent liquid preservative for cosmetic products from the manufacturer Ashland.

It is suitable for all types of rinse-off and non-rinse-off products, as well as for products intended for sensitive skin and for cosmetics intended for the eye area. Even at low concentrations it is very effective and provides a complete preservative system with a broad balanced spectrum of efficacy against both Gram+ and Gram- bacteria, yeasts and moulds. It does not contain parabens or formaldehyde. Active ingredient phenoxyethanol (w/w = 90%), supplemented with 10% ethylhexylglycerin. Both ingredients have undergone a thorough toxicological study, whereby the upper concentration limit in the products has been set at 1.1%.

Euxyl® PE 9010 is well soluble at the concentration of 0.5 - 1.0 % used . It tolerates a high salt content. High surfactant concentrations may result in loss of effectiveness.
