Product description

Juniper essential oil is produced by steam distillation of ripe Juniperus Comunnis fruits, which are matured for 2 years. It has a pungent, woody aroma with high pine notes and is one of the strongest oils used in aromatherapy. It is not toxic or irritating and is suitable for all skin types. Juniper essential oil has a fruity-woody scent with a soothing effect. It is rich in vitamin C and is used for rheumatism, celutitis, migraine and detoxification. It has antibacterial effects.

Juniper essential oil can be used in natural repellents as it helps repel insects. It is also appreciated by acne-prone and problematic skin. It is also rich in antioxidants, improving relaxation and falling asleep.

This essential oil can be applied in an aromatherapy bottle or diffuser (5-8 drops), mix at least 1:1 with a carrier oil (e.g. olive, almond or coconut oil) for application on the skin. For other uses, see table below.

Not recommended for use in pregnancy or for people with kidney problems.

All ingredients supplied are cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Please use appropriate protective equipment when handling.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils or also essential oils are natural aromatic substances that come from different parts of plants - stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and also have medicinal and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms on a physical, emotional or mental level.

Their chemical composition is quite complicated. Essential oils are most often obtained from plants by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier plant oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which can be applied directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your beauty products, we do not recommend consuming any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils are fat soluble, so if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.

HOW DO I USE ESSENTIAL OIL?

Cosmetic and soap making - the amount of essential oil needed depends on the specific recipe and the quantity being made.
Inhalation, steaming - drip a few drops of essential oil into an aromatherapy bottle, diffuser, or container of hot water.
Bath - mix drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dcl of milk or in a spoonful of honey, pour this mixture into the bath. The essential oils themselves are insoluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.
Massage - add a few drops of essential oil to cold pressed vegetable oil (approx 50 ml) and mix well. Pleasant massage.
Sauna - choose from conifer, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus scents. The amount of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your taste.

Essential oils are also popularly used in skin care, topical compresses, hair masks, oral care...
