Product description

Rosemary is an aromatic herb familiar from the kitchen. Its origin is in the Mediterranean, where it was named the dew of the sea. The essential oil is produced by steam desitlation from the plant Rosmarinus Officinalis Camphoriferum.

The production of rosemary essential oil can produce three types of essential oils, depending on the climatic conditions or origin, depending on which chemotype predominates. Thus we know the chemotype ct camphor, ct verbenone, ct cineol.

* Ct cineol is a classic chemotype with excellent efficacy, especially for respiratory relaxation.

* The chemotype ct camphor has a fresh, strong, herbal aroma that is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and also pain-relieving. It stimulates the central nervous system and helps calm the body and mind.

* Ct verbenone is characterized by a more delicate, floral rosemary scent.

In aromatherapy, it helps reduce stress levels, fatigue and nervous tension, increases mental activity, and supports respiratory function. The scent of rosemary stimulates the appetite. It boosts the immune system by stimulating antioxidant activity (relaxes the throat and nose by clearing the respiratory tract).

It is used in cosmetics for its antiseptic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The diluted oil is used topically, stimulating hair growth, which it also conditions. It prevents hair loss and moisturizes dry scalp to relieve dandruff.

The detoxifying properties, used in massage, can aid in healthy digestion, relieve flatulence bloating and cramping, and relieve constipation. In skin care products, it soothes and treats dry skin, relieving inflammation, eczema and acne.

It can be added to soaps, face masks, toners and creams.

All ingredients supplied are cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Please use appropriate protective equipment when handling.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils, or essential oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from different parts of plants - stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and also have medicinal and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms on a physical, emotional or mental level.

Their chemical composition is quite complicated. Essential oils are most often obtained from plants by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier plant oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which can be applied directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your beauty products, we do not recommend consuming any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils are fat soluble, so if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.

HOW DO I USE ESSENTIAL OIL?

Cosmetic and soap making - the amount of essential oil needed depends on the specific recipe and the quantity being made.
Inhalation, steaming - drip a few drops of essential oil into an aromatherapy bottle, diffuser, or container of hot water.
Bath - mix drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dcl of milk or in a spoonful of honey, pour this mixture into the bath. The essential oils themselves are insoluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.
Massage - add a few drops of essential oil to cold pressed vegetable oil (approx 50 ml) and mix well. Pleasant massage.
Sauna - choose from conifer, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus scents. The amount of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your taste.

Essential oils are also popularly used in skin care, topical compresses, hair masks, oral care...
