Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate - belongs to the anionic tensides (also called surfactants or surfactants). It is obtained from coconut oil, namely from its fatty acids. It is purely vegetable in origin, environmentally friendly and biodegradable.

Disodium 2-sulfolaurate is a mild surfactant that is often used in cosmetic products such as shampoos, conditioners, shower gels and facial cleansers. It effectively removes dirt, grease and excess sebum without disturbing the skin's natural protective barrier. It is also suitable for sensitive skin and mucous membranes, ideal for children's products and formulations that do not sting the eyes. It also has conditioning properties - it improves the condition of the hair, providing excellent combability even without the presence of polymers.

It produces a creamy and rich lather and is stable (even in hard water or in the presence of vegetable oil). Compatible with a wide range of pH and temperatures, ensuring its stability in several types of products.

It is water soluble.
