Have you come across Cupuacu butter?

This vegan butter with a very exotic name is very similar to cocoa butter (cocoa butter is made from the cacao tree Theobroma cacao and cupuacu from the cacao tree Theobroma grandiflorum).

While cocoa butter is hard and its rich, dark chocolate scent will immediately kick-start your taste buds, cupuacu also smells like chocolate, but greener, fresher and more penetrating. It's more like a hint of chocolate.

CUPUACU BUTTER - CHARACTERISTICS

Cupuacu butter has a much broader spectrum of fatty acids, which in this case means a much higher percentage of shorter-chain fatty acids. The butter is much softer, which allows it to penetrate deep into the skin. Nutritionally, butter is high in omega fatty acids and antioxidant polyphenols. In addition to essential vitamins and nutrients such as B vitamins, amino acids, flavanoids, calcium, selenium, and at least nine antioxidants including vitamins A and C, cupuacu also provides a protective barrier against UV rays and helps prevent sun damage to the skin.

This nutritional value has earned it the status of King of the Superfruits. Another interesting finding is that this butter has a high water absorption capacity, making it an excellent choice for dry skin. In this respect, it is virtually unrivalled, as it retains water in a volume of up to 240% of its weight.
These two properties predestine the butter to support the treatment of the skin, which it is able to protect, nourish and treat in depth.

In addition to the skin, it is also an excellent choice for hair cosmetics.
