Coco Betaine is a high quality amphoteric tenside that is used as a mild cleansing ingredient in cosmetic and personal care products. This surfactant is particularly gentle on skin and hair, making it ideal for use in products designed for sensitive skin and fine hair. Coco Betaine provides excellent foaming and cleansing action, while helping to reduce the irritating potential of anionic tensides.

It is often used in shampoos, shower gels, soaps and baby products. Its ability to create a rich lather and increase viscosity makes it an ideal additive for a variety of water-based formulations.

Coco Betaine is biodegradable, environmentally friendly and is also suitable for natural cosmetics.

The recommended dosage ranges from 5% to 20%, depending on the type of product and the desired cleaning effect.
