Cinnamon essential oil in cosmetic quality is a blend of natural essential oil and synthetic perfume.

Cinnamon is considered one of the oldest and most valuable spices in the world. It was already used by the Egyptians in ancient times, when its value could even be compared to that of gold. It has even become a staple of traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. Cinnamon essential oil can be obtained in two ways: steam distillation from the bark or from the leaves of the Cinnamomum zeylanicum tree.

In aromatherapy, it relieves feelings of depression, fainting and exhaustion. It is also considered a natural aphrodisiac. When diffused throughout a room, the scent is refreshing and deodorising, with its characteristic warm aroma, relaxing, calming and uplifting.
