Product description

Bisabolol is an organic natural product obtained from the Candeia tree (Eremanthus erythropappus), which grows in the Brazilian rainforests, especially in the Serra do Espinhaço. It is certified Ecocert and USDA Organic.

It is a clear oily liquid with a sweet, floral scent that contains Alpha-Bisabolol, an unsaturated monocyclic sesquiterpene alcohol. In the past, Alpha-Bisabolol was extracted from chamomile flowers, but these contained only an average of 30% of the active ingredient.
It also has the advantage of not containing Farnesol.

It has been popular in cosmetics for years, especially for its anti-inflammatory, healing and soothing effects and antimicrobial properties.
It is suitable for skin care products, is an ideal choice for sensitive skin products and is also suitable for children.

It can be used in after-shave products, children's products, deodorants and antiperspirants, sunscreen and after-sun products, oral hygiene products, acne-fighting products and hair conditioners.

It is soluble in alcohols such as ethanol, isopropanol and glycerol and paraffin esters as well as in oil. It is insoluble in water and glycerine.

It can be incorporated into aqueous ingredients using solvents/solubilizers.
It is very stable in cosmetic formulations with a pH of 3 - 11.

Dosage:
skin products 0.1 - 0.5%
deodorants 0,5 %
