Product description

Borututu root-infused shea butter is made by adding borututu root during the processing of shea butter. Shea butter, is produced using a traditional method from the seeds of the African shea tree. The nuts are mechanically crushed and roasted, then mixed and pressed. The shea tree seeds are wild-harvested, and the butter is unrefined.

The medicinal borututu root (Cochlospermum angolensis root) has been used in West Africa for many years, not only for coloring but primarily for enriching shea butter with its healing effects in combating inflammation and infection. It has antibacterial properties and helps heal skin problems and burns. It also effectively fights age spots.

This significantly yellow butter with a nutty scent is suitable for pregnant women and sensitive baby skin. However, it is not suitable for individuals with nut allergies.

Shea butter contains many valuable substances, including vitamins A, E, F, and minerals. It is the most popular ingredient in natural cosmetics. It helps prevent signs of aging and regenerates damaged skin. Borututu-infused shea butter can be used directly on the body and hair or incorporated into your cosmetic products. It is ideal as a base for making ointments for eczema, psoriasis, insect bites, or sunburn. It helps in anti-wrinkle and stretch mark preparations and works excellently in products for caring for dry and brittle hair.
