Vitamin A is a very effective active ingredient in cosmetics that helps to improve skin texture or reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. Vitamin A is particularly suitable for acne-prone skin products as it helps to improve the appearance of scars and reduce the appearance of oily skin.

The other major use of vitamin A is in cosmetics for mature skin. Vitamin A reduces the appearance of dark sun spots and helps smooth wrinkles.

Vitamin A is fat soluble, you can add it directly to the oil phase or to the finished emulsion. This is a heat sensitive ingredient, add vitamin A to the product at room temperature or at 30°C or below. Choose opaque or dark glass packaging for finished products - vitamin A is light sensitive.

Dosage:

0.1 - 3% - we recommend starting with lower doses to avoid possible irritation from high doses of vitamin A.
